Clear decisions when everything is at stake.

A cofounder relationship that has stopped working, and a cap table that says you're stuck with each other. A runway date approaching fast.
The decisions that matter most arrive first. Before the data, before you're ready. You make them anyway, and then you walk into a room where thirty people need to see someone who knows exactly where this is going.
This is the terrain I work in.

Emanuele Ancorini. New York.

Years ago I fell during a performance, skidded into the footlights, and started a small electrical fire. I stood up in the middle of it, sequins smoking, aggressively optimistic V-neck and all, while the Gipsy Kings played on.
Ten thousand people watched me decide what to do next. That's the part I know something about.

THE WORK

I don't solve founders' problems for them. I help them see the problem they're actually solving, which is harder to find than it sounds once pressure has narrowed everything to a single frame.

What that looks like: slowing the situation down enough to separate fact from interpretation. Naming the assumption underneath the reaction. Finding what's being protected. Widening the range of what's actually available to you.
Then the outside game: What to say to the investor. What to concede and what to hold. Which fight is worth having and which one is just expensive.
Founders talk about these as two things. They never are.

Founders come in for the fight. What they tell me after the smoke clears is that something else changed. How they are at home. Which version of themselves shows up when it isn't a crisis.
That isn't a bonus. It's the same work. You cannot think clearly about your cap table while lying to yourself about your marriage.

HOW IT WORKS

Weekly calls, and you can text me any time, because the hard moments don't wait for the next call. Usually three to six months. Through the chapter, not around it.

After a few months I have your whole context. Your cofounder, your board, your team, and also your marriage, your kids, your parents, the friend whose opinion you actually care about. You don't rebuild the picture every time we talk. We start where we left off.

RECENT WORK

Cofounder separations. Turnarounds under a runway clock. Acquisition processes where the founder had to decide, quickly, what he actually wanted out of it.

"I immediately felt a great sense of trust in Emanuele. He listens, asks the right questions, and has the tools needed to move forward."

Jen, NJ

"Emanuele’s direct, no-BS approach helped me uncover core insights and find practical answers, leaving me with a strong sense of purpose and the confidence to tackle challenges with focus."

Daniel H, CA

"Emanuele has a unique sense of distilling complex topics into simple and actionable insights."

Taras (Founder, Tarform) NY
